A Deeper Understanding of Weather Fronts with Bryan Jackson

On this week's podcast, we are joined by Bryan Jackson of the National Weather Service. Bryan works daily as a meteorologist predicting precipitation amounts for North America. Bryan has an in-depth knowledge of understanding weather fronts, weather patterns, climate, and he is here to share his knowledge with all of us.
Any land manager or hunter is very familiar with watching weather forecasts. It may be the most frequently used app on our phones, but do we have an understanding of how weather works? This complex, natural phenomenon, that happens every day has a seemingly endless number of variables that make the weather difficult to predict. However, with proper education like Bryan has, he shares a deeper understanding of precipitation, cold fronts, barometric pressure, movement of storms over terrain features, and much more! This podcast, although it's packed with great information, still is just surface level. We fully intend to dive deeper with Bryan on additional weather-related podcasts in the future. We hope you enjoy this podcast and learn about the complexities of predicting weather and how it strongly impacts our decisions about where we hunt and when we plant.
