Turkey Nest Destroyed! Who’s to Blame?

The reoccurring question is what happened to the turkey population? We hear it over and over and it's a complicated answer but this video touches on one of the main issues. We tend to picture a turkey population with a tom strutting with several hens but in order for that to occur we first have to have successful nesting. Without successful nesting and brood rearing habitat, turkey hunting as we know it will decline. Restoring a diverse landscape that will attract plenty of bugs and seeds will be a great start! During this video you'll find that a predator is likely to blame, which predator is unknown. Even with a predator being responsible we can't blame it totally. We still have work to do! #ForLoveoftheLand
