Lessons From a Bloodtrail

On this week's podcast, we sit down and talk with Kasey Morgan of Drury Outdoors! Kasey owned a blood tracking company for nearly a decade. With that experience, he learned all about shot placement on a deer. Sometimes, we learn we should have waited to take the shot or taken the shot at a different range. There are lots of lessons to be learned about our shot placement mistakes.
Fixed blade or expandable? Depending on your shot placement, we know one performs better than the other. Kasey explains what angles we should avoid and what places on a deer we should avoid hitting so that we can all make the most ethical shots. We are also going to discuss why we should give the deer plenty of time before we start tracking the blood trail!
