Last week we threw it back old school to stories of deer camp and traditions we both had coming up as young hunters in our respective families and regions of the country. This week as firearms season for deer has opened up in several states recently, it is only right if we share some of our best firearms hunting memories.
Growing up in different portions of the country allowed for different hunting regulations for Matt and Adam. This translates to stories of success hunting whitetails with vastly different techniques. These different techniques are ones to surely make you laugh and recall your own stories of being a young deer hunter.
In addition to the stories, we review ideal rifle hunting scenarios. What habitat features would be like, what the view would include or exclude, the time of the year, etc.. Some hunters may view hunting with a firearm easy or cheap, however, it is simply another tool used to be successful.
